You've seen this shirt before here. My sister has told me these jeans are too big for me, and after looking at these photos, I'm inclined to agree.
The yard was bustling, so the photos were quick snaps as my husband worked on raised beds and I handed him the camera. And the children were busily digging and messing and getting pink cheeks. I'm so glad spring is here!

Oh yes! Spring is wonderful! Sunny, warmer, the children play outside and get all dirty and tired - in a good way...
Always take Mel's advice when it comes to clothes! I always do!
Oh, I dunno. I think the jeans look great.
Clara just asked Patrick to show her how to peg her jeans legs. (Nothing spells Old Age like having your daughter repeat your 1980's fashion mistakes like they're some kind of fresh, brilliant inspiration. Where is our hope for the future?)
Huhn. Is pegging your pantlegs the thing? Did I tell you that I subbed at the high school on "80's Day?" One girl was dressed in a ripped "Flashdance"-style sweatshirt, legwarmers, neon gummy bracelets and a fluffy side ponytail. Before class, she was talking spiritedly about some injustice to her modern-dress friends. When she flounced away, one friend turned to the other and said, "It's hard to take her seriously." Really? I took myself VERY seriously in my legwarmers.
Dansko clogs are the best! Was wearing mine today too!
Sometime I'll try to get on board & participate. I love this shoestring chic concept! And I love seeing what others wear.
The photo with your children frolicking in the background--I love it! Real life.
DB, I don't know about pegging pants, but I think I'm going to make/have legwarmers for my girl next winter. When she wears tights and a skirt, I think slipping a pair of legwarmers over her shoes would, you know, keep her legs warm (as opposed to putting on snowpants). We're going to make legwarmers serious business, not just 80s style!
Although you didn't show a photo from the back, I think the jeans look great on you. I like the cut of them.
You look cute! The jeans wouldn't have been considered too big a few years ago, but right now skinny and tight is all the rage.
