Taking Up a New Project

I'm bored with knitting dishcloths as my handwork.  I'm not ready to drag around a quilt again.  That pile on the chair is Ben's quilt in progress.  Lack of progress, really.

So (drumroll) I'm going to learn to knit socks.  I bought local yarn and needles.  I've got a tutorial bookmarked, and several friends lined up as tutors.  I'm excited!

I wish all the best on this. I have been trying to learn to knit socks, but it has proven to be very hard for me at this time :0)

The colors are so pretty.

Awesome! That is my ultimate knitting goal! Having recently taught myself to knit in the round I've been thinking I might be up for the challenge. I just got some hand-me-down double pointed needles from my MIL, now to track down some sock yarn this weekend and I will be set!

Good luck and be sure to post photos!

Good luck! I have a pair that a friend knitted for me, and I love them! I myself, took a sock knitting class and haven't progressed very far.

I love your yarn!
