These are rice + toppings meals that I carried out recently to families with new babies (we have a raft of new babies at church - fun!). I was pleased with the efficient way of carrying the meal and how pretty it looked.
This is Korean beef, rice, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, with a sprinkling of my very own cilantro over the veggies. There was eclair dessert to go along, too.
This is rice and teriyaki pork, with toasted coconut sprinkled over it, beside purple cabbage slaw with lime and cilantro, plus fresh pineapple. There were mocha drops to go along, too.

They do look delicious! Love the colours.
Pretty! And sounds delicious! Almost makes me want to have another baby....almost.
What a good friend/neighbor/parishioner you are! These are lovely meals, and so much more interesting than a casserole.
What lovely, yet practical meals! I love, love, love how you have nestled everything into one large pan. Genius! I'm going to remember this. We've had a gaggle of babies recently born into our church as well; I think number 6 is arriving today!
ALMOST makes me want to have a baby! :) :)
How do the people reheat their lovely rice and meat without cooking the rest??
sk, I take it over hot out of the pans (only pausing to snap a photo!!) and then they eat it warm. In the summer, hot food is not always welcome anyway :) (and if there was someone who really wanted hot food, they could put the hot elements on their plate, microwave, and then pile the cold salad stuff on top).
Looks yummy
