I made one Christmas gift this year. One. I will show it to you in another post.
As I scrolled through the photos I took very randomly at Christmas-time, I realized that they were all of my people. I'm so glad. Maybe I do have my heart in the right place, focusing on what matters, living in the moment.
Honestly, this Christmas has stressed me out with work deadlines combined with more socializing than we've had at other Christmases. But tonight as I post my favorite Christmas photos, I am grateful and peaceful. (linking up with Leila and Rosie's pretty/happy/funny/real)

Daddy tries to explain how to tell time to Ben; Ben was much more interested in the backlit face on his new watch. |
ohhhhh, we had FUN with the deluxe English crackers and their paper crowns that Aunt Mel brought. |
A treat: ice cream with dear friends who moved to Kansas this summer and came back to visit. |
A cousin spontaneously gives Great-Grandma a hug, a sweet moment in a boisterous, joyful gathering. |

Merry Christmas Margo!
We have those christmas crackers here in Australia and they're pretty much on every table on Christmas day. It is customary to pull them, wear the silly hat and read out the lame-o jokes. And if you're lucky you'll get a cruddy plastic toy! hehe.
Lovely pics! xo
Merry Christmas and happy new year! it looks like you had a lovely Christmas. I too was a little stressed this year with the extra socialization and things that needed to get done, but we have this week off and my in-laws are visiting and we're really enjoying the moments together. Hope your week (and new year) is wonderful!
Wonderful post. ;)
Your people look happy and loving and loved ...
All the best in 2013! I so enjoy your blog; thank you for sharing it!
Looks like you had a lovely Christmas! I think the important parts are that the children have a nice time, and know the real reason for all the celebrating. I get a little worked up before Christmas also, but it always falls into place (and I remind myself to start my sewing projects very early next year!). Look forward to seeing what you're up to in the new year! Shauna
You all look so cute in your paper hats! Hope you had a great time. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family!
