Cleaning Windows, Trading Time

A friend and I are trading time and skills - I sewed some things for her, she is helping me with fall cleaning projects.
I really really wanted sparkling windows before winter.  So nice to do them with a partner.

  1. That is a good idea. Cleaning windows is much easier with someone else! I too like clean windows for fall/winter... the slanty light shows up everything!

  2. Such a smart idea, and so much more fun to work with someone, don't you think?

  4. I have a piano mom in my studio who has been out of work for some time. We made arrangments to barter for the fall term. Last month she washed my window. Last week she got a job. She's now going to be PAYING for the lessons. With money. Sad news.

  5. What a wonderful arrangement! I find those sorts of tasks so much more pleasant with someone to share it with. Plus, bartering is just the very best there is.

  6. I love clean windows. The rest of the house could be a pit but if I can see clearly out of my windows, life seems like it will all be okay.

  8. What a wonderful idea! We've been washing windows too, I don't think the ones in our new house had been washed for years. Like you I really want clean windows before winter!

  9. Kyle, I think the last time I washed mine was before Ben was born 3 years ago :) They are all done now and it's SO NICE.

  10. I know natural cleaning products are mentioned everywhere on the web and on the books, but there are certain areas of the house I wouldn’t do with home made cleaning products. I would rather use a cleaning product which cleans well and leaves my home smell fresh.
