Good Mustard Eggs

These are the real deal - hardboiled eggs in a sweet-sour mustard brine.  Delicious!  Much better than the recipe I googled last year.  Thanks to Jennifer Jo for the good recipe.

Now, to complete my taste memory, I am going to make a spinach salad with mustard eggs, mushrooms, and sunflower seeds.

  1. I've never had mustard eggs, but am now intrigued. This weekend I will be getting my batch of local eggs--maybe I will boil up a dozen and make a batch!

Love your new profile picture--very pretty, with nice color contrasts!

  2. I didn't know what mustard eggs were until you posted about them last year - now they're one of my favorite snack foods!!!

Love your new profile picture too!

  4. Now this sounds downright interesting. The Hubs hates anything mustard, but I think I'll make this for my own lunch with spinach. Mmmmm...thanks for the recipe!
