Inspiration for Saving Old Jeans

I could not stop admiring this quilt - the wash of blue from all the kinds of denims with the powerful sprinkle of red - and see the pockets and saturated seams left from jeans?  So clever.  I love how modern the design is, how lively. One of the beach girls' mothers, Elaine Good, just made up this design for the love of quilts and creativity and materials on hand.  The quilt is about 15 years old and wearing like iron.

I love it - it's such a nice design, and the reds! They're a perfect addition.

She's good. I always admire her work! Pinning this one...I've got a couple of boxes of jeans saved up!

A baby in leg warmers is the perfect accent.

It is beautiful. I love the different patterns in it. I have one jean quilt, a gift from my grandmother, and it is a treasure. Just about the right season to put it back on the bed, too. Its so warm and heavy that its strictly and fall-winter blanket.

Wow - this is beautiful!

And I love the leg warmers on your baby girl - adorable! Was she doing baby yoga? :)

Leg warmers - what a good idea! My daughter has been crawling about a week and stretches and gets tangled in her pjs when it's still a bit too cool for just a onesie.

Great quilt!

That is very lovely! We have a hodgepodge denim quilt on our bed, made by my MIL and grandmother-in-law together, and it is something how they all turn out so different. Like the comment above, I too have a jean stash saved with similar someday plans! And your baby is so sweet.
