Spring is Coming in My Shop

There may be a foot of snow in the forecast, but it is March and I am deeply, happily, immersed in spring sewing.

It's a new handmade goody for my Etsy shop - look for the listings in the coming week. This is probably the most enjoyable sewing I have ever done, as invigorating as coffee to me!  My spring tonic, perhaps.

In the meantime, just so I'm not a mean old tease, please enjoy a 10% off sale in my shop with the code SPRING14 (there's a box where you enter the code during checkout).  Sale ends Tuesday, March 4.

Dear Margo,
Your Thrift at Home is always enjoyable. The embroidery and crocheted lace with pink and green gingham looks so lovely. Is it a pillow? You match such lovely fabrics and patterns.

Reminds me of being eight years old when my mother taught me embroidery and hand sewing and then gave me fabric to make doll clothes after she taught me the basic use of her old Singer Machine.

Keep inspiring all of us and thank you for writing with pictures.

That pencil roll (with the flowers on it) is darling! What a sweet little shop.
